Robert B. Ingram is a 6Seconds Networkleader. Bob retired form Federal Service 31 May2019. At that time he was an Instructor / Writer, Civilian Education System (CES), working for the Army Management Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He worked there since August 1997. Bob worked for the U.S. Army over the past forty-one (43+) years. He graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology and entered active duty as a Second Lieutenant in May 1975. He completed the Armor Officer Basic and Advanced Courses while stationed at Fort Knox, KY. While assigned to Fort Knox, Kentucky, he completed his Masters of Public Service (Counseling) degree in May 1979 from Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, Kentucky. He has served as an active duty officer in U.S. Army, Europe (USAREUR) and Fort Polk, Louisiana prior to his leaving active duty in October 1986. Upon leaving active duty, he accepted a position with USAREUR as a Department of the Army Civilian, where he spent eleven years working for the Ansbach and Kaiserslautern Communities, USAREUR as a Clinical Director for their community counseling centers. He came from USAREUR in August 1997 to work for the Center for Army Leadership, Civilian Leadership Training Division, now the Army Management Staff College – Leavenworth Campus, where he travels throughout the United States conducting courses on leadership skills and development for civilian supervisors in the U.S. Army. Over the course of his employment with the U.S. Army, Bob has actively pursued a continuing professional development plan, which has resulted in his attending a myriad of Leadership and Management programs throughout his career. He is a graduate of the Army Management and Staff College, Class 96-03, and is a past Treasurer and President of the European Branch, American Association of Counseling and Development (EB-AACD). He is involved in the Kansas City area MARKED MEN FOR CHRIST (MMFC) organization. Bob has earned the following awards: Meritorious Service Medal; Superior Civilian Service Award; Commander’s Award for Civilian Service (3x); Army Commendation Medal; and, the Army Achievement Medal, as well as numerous citations for exceptional service, as a member of the U.S. Army. He lives in Lansing, Kansas with his wife and best friend, Fiona, and they have two daughters, four sons and thirteen (13) grandchildren.
