Empathy Can Change the World
This video focuses on the importance of practicing empathy and teaching social emotional learning in schools. It can be used in coordination with the following reflection questions:
Is empathy something that needs to be actively practiced?
What are some of the positive results of practicing empathy?
Think back to a situation in which someone you know was the victim of bullying.
What do you think they were feeling as the bullying was happening?
Did the person say anything, or could you tell how they were feeling by their body language, gestures, etc.?
What could you have done to help that person?
